Mr Scarecrow

Once long ago there was a very poor farmer. He was so poor, to save money he used the hay from the scarecrow to feed his cows and the birds ate all his crops. One night before he went to sleep he read a book about Medusa, suddenly he had an idea - he carved a scarecrow out of stone. He was so happy with himself when people came from all over the world to see his stone scarecrow. When he died his wife took the statue to a National Garden.
