By Senan Ó Dorchaí
Ring ring
ring went the bell in Medusa’s prison. Another
guard turned to stone. “Come on stop her!”
said the guard in charge. “If Medusa escapes
Zeus will batter you all, so stop her”. But Medusa would not be stopped, she had been
locked up in prison for 30,000 years and she would not stay in here for another
100,000. Medusa jumped out of window and
landed in a boat. After a while she
reached the mainland where a farmer who was setting up a scarecrow. When he looked at Medusa he smiled and turned
to stone. Medusa laughed, she had got
her second victim.
THE END
Hello Senan, great story! I thought it was ironic how the image of the statue seems to be a scarecrow and that the farmer became like his scarecrow for making eye contact with Medusa. It was very interesting!
