“Wake up! It’s Friday” Thomas the Turnip shouted as the others opened their eyes. Thomas was in front on the top shelf. He was a huge turnip who took pride in his appearance. Brian the Broccoli was slightly more lazy. He always helped Kevin the Carrot who was in a crate next to him chatting.  

“Everybody, quiet and we won’t get picked.” But oh no! The orange one spoke first. It was Kevin. He felt a big hand pick him up and as he was put in a basket, tears rolled down his face.

“Um? Maybe not,” said the shopper. 

Will Kevin get to stay with his friends - or not ?
